Audio must be clear and easy to hear

Think about how many people will be talking to determine if you require a single microphone or multiple microphones. Dictaphones are the cheapest type of recording device but also the most restrictive and is only suitable for basic dictations. The time a transcription takes to complete depends on a few factors such as the length of the audio file, audio quality and the number of people speaking.
